About the Role
As a Platform Engineer at Network Finance, you’ll play a key role in designing, building and supporting cloud-native platforms. You’ll work extensively with Kubernetes, containerised workloads and AWS, enabling development teams through robust platforms, automation and best-in-class tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining scalable cloud platforms on AWS
- Managing and administering Kubernetes environments (EKS)
- Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Driving Infrastructure-as-Code practices (Terraform, CloudFormation, Crossplane)
- Improving observability, monitoring and alerting (SLOs, SLIs, SLAs)
- Supporting release management and deployment processes
- Applying SRE practices such as automation, reliability and incident response
- Developing internal developer platforms, APIs and tooling
Requirements
- Strong background in cloud computing and containerised environments
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and containerised workloads
- Experience with GitOps practices and modern DevOps tooling
- Exposure to internal developer platforms (e.g. Backstage) is advantageous
- Solid understanding of platform engineering and cloud-native design
