About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting pricing activities across group risk products, contributing to the delivery of quotes, renewals, and proposals. The role offers a balance of technical analysis and stakeholder interaction, within a structured and deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and timely quotations, proposals, and renewals across group risk products
- Manage and prioritise workflows to ensure deadlines and service levels are consistently met
- Support pricing decisions through analysis of claims experience and portfolio trends
- Maintain and update quotation trackers and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Monitor pricing performance metrics and provide insights to the team
- Engage with internal stakeholders, reinsurers, and underwriting teams where required
- Handle queries and escalations in a professional and solutions-driven manner
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and broader team initiatives
Requirements
- Degree (NQF Level 6) in a quantitative or related field (e.g. Statistics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a pricing, actuarial support, or group risk environment
- Understanding of life insurance or group risk products and pricing principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement ability

- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability
- Understanding of customer service principles and delivery standards
