Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring costs align with approved scope and financial plans
• Capture and process sub-consultant and supplier invoices accurately in the ERP system
• Prepare and maintain detailed project cost reports and perform regular reconciliations
• Liaise with Project Managers and senior stakeholders to track project financial performance
• Ensure all project-related expenses are compliant, documented, and correctly allocated
• Assist with project audits and ensure adherence to accounting standards
• Support cost-benefit analyses, forecasts, and ad-hoc project-related financial reporting

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project accounting, financial analysis, or a related role
• Experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or the built environment is highly advantageous

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g. Deltek, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting

Other Non-Negotiables:

• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
