Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
? Design and optimize solar PV systems using tools like PVsyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD
? Perform technical feasibility studies and yield analysis
? Develop and review single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring layouts, and construction drawings
? Support procurement and construction teams with technical input
? Ensure compliance with applicable standards (NRS, IEC, SANS)
? Monitor project timelines, risks, and deliverables
? Collaborate with clients, EPCs, and utility stakeholders during all project phases
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering
3–5 years experience in solar PV project design or engineering
Proficient in PV design software (PVsyst, AutoCAD, etc.)
Knowledge of grid-tied and hybrid systems
Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license (advantageous for site visits)
