Based in the field, this role focuses on overseeing installation standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing technical guidance to installation teams, and driving continuous improvement across projects. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining installation quality, supporting field teams, and upholding industry best practices.
Education:
- Electrician qualification (preferred but not required)
- Relevant technical or electrical training within the solar industry
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in the solar industry
- Direct involvement in at least 50 completed solar installations
- Proven experience in a field service, technical, or quality control role
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and balance of system components
- In-depth knowledge of electrical regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
- Ability to conduct site inspections, quality audits, and commissioning support
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding capabilities
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with installers, technicians, and management
- Ability to train and mentor installation teams on best practices and quality standards
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites as required
