Job Summary

Hire Resolve`s client is seeking an experienced Operations coordinator with strong inventory management skills to oversee stock planning, optimize inventory levels, and ensure seamless integration of Sage Evolution and Excel systems to join their team in Johannesburg, GP.
The individual will be responsible for developing and carrying out the companys logistics strategy and ensuring the appropriate staffing, organization and supply procedures are in place.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
  • Coordinate daily operations, including procurement, logistics, and supply chain.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance metrics.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Work hand in hand with sales manager on individual product GP tracking.
  • Work with warehouse manager on inventory control.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies.
  • Conduct stock analysis, forecasting, and planning.
  • Monitor and adjust inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Optimize stockholding costs and improve inventory turnover.
  • Complete Bills of Materials and work with cost accounting functions.
  • Sage Evolution:
  • Manage and maintain Sage Evolution inventory management module.
  • Process stock transactions, invoices, and credits.
  • Generate inventory reports and analytics.
  • Excel Expertise:
  • Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets for inventory analysis.
  • Create dashboards, charts, and graphs for data visualization.
  • Automate reports using Excel macros and formulas.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CLTD, APICS).
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools.
  • Inventory management and planning.
  • Operational management.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
