About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Takora. As a key member of our construction and tendering department, you will be responsible for managing multiple construction projects simultaneously, leading a team of operations staff, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously
- Lead a team of operations staff to ensure successful project delivery
- Tender for projects, prepare bids, and negotiate contracts
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tender documents
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution
- Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- At least 10 years of experience in construction operations and tendering, with at least 7 years in a management role
- Proven track record of managing multiple construction projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
