About the Role
The PABX Technician plays a vital role in ensuring reliable voice and data communication for business clients by installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting private branch exchange (PABX/PBX) systems, particularly Yeastar and Samsung platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, installation and maintenance of PABX systems
- Conduct site survey before installations
- Troubleshooting on PABX
- Configuration of ADSL, VoIP, WIFI, 3G routers
- Set up of IP PBX VoIP network SIP Trunks and VOIP installations
- Installations and troubleshooting of cabling infrastructure
- Voice Over IP network maintenance
- Connectivity – Fiber, Microwave links and LTE Data cabling and voice cabling
- Configuration of voicemail, auto attendant, spnet, least cost routing (LCR), ring plans as well as voice and data integration
- Troubleshooting in a networking infrastructure
- Conduct fault finding analysis
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a PABX Technician
- Experience working on Yeastar & Samsung systems
- Experience in office automation Industry
