About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) to support our Head Pastry Chef in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and organizational support to the Head Pastry Chef. Manage scheduling, appointments, and travel arrangements. Handle communications, including emails and phone calls, on behalf of the Head Pastry Chef. Assist with procurement of ingredients, equipment, and supplies for the pastry section. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality control of materials. Prepare reports, order forms, and inventory tracking for the pastry department. Assist with event planning and special projects related to pastry preparation. Ensure that all pastry-related operational tasks are running smoothly and on schedule. Manage documentation related to culinary recipes, ingredient specifications, and food safety standards. Key

Requirements:

Formal Education: A degree or qualification in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is essential. Hospitality Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Procurement Experience: Demonstrated experience in procurement, preferably within a kitchen or foodservice environment. Transportation: Must have access to a personal vehicle for travel purposes related to procurement and other duties. Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with suppliers, team members, and senior management. Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proactive and Discreet: A self-starter who is resourceful and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
