About the Role
As a Parts Sales Representative at our Lanseria branch, you will be the face of our parts department, assisting customers in identifying the correct parts, advising on maintenance solutions and ensuring a smooth and professional purchasing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers entering the store
- Identify and source correct engine or electrical parts
- Provide product knowledge, maintenance advice and usage guidance
- Handle dissatisfied customers professionally and find practical solutions to maintain long-term business relationships
- Deliver outstanding customer service at all times
- Assist with inventory management and ensure correct stocking and display of parts
- Inspect returned parts for defects and process accordingly
- Participate in receiving shipments and dispatching customer orders
- Accurately document all incoming and outgoing inventory
Requirements
- Matric (preferably with Higher Grade subjects, especially Mathematics C)
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport (essential)
- Minimum 2 years experience in Counter Sales, Sales Representative or similar sales role
- Technical interest in engine parts or electrical components advantageous
- Strong selling, negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong numeracy skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
- Computer literate and comfortable using retail software
