The Role As a Parts Sales Representative, you will be the face of the parts department assisting customers in identifying the correct parts, advising on maintenance solutions and ensuring a smooth and professional purchasing experience. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, handling returns, processing orders and supporting overall branch operations. This role is ideal for someone who is technically curious, sales-driven and enjoys working in a structured, fast-paced retail and technical environment. Key Responsibilities Customer Sales & Service Welcome and assist customers entering the store Identify and source correct engine or electrical parts Provide product knowledge, maintenance advice and usage guidance Handle dissatisfied customers professionally and find practical solutions to maintain long-term business relationships Deliver outstanding customer service at all times Inventory & Stock Control Assist with inventory management and ensure correct stocking and display of parts Inspect returned parts for defects and process accordingly Participate in receiving shipments and dispatching customer orders Accurately document all incoming and outgoing inventory Administration & Systems Update customer information in the system Process orders efficiently and accurately Maintain organised and accurate records Ensure the store and workspace remain clean, tidy and professional Minimum Requirements Matric (preferably with Higher Grade subjects, especially Mathematics C) Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport (essential) Minimum 2 years experience in Counter Sales, Sales Representative or similar sales role Technical interest in engine parts or electrical components advantageous Strong selling, negotiation and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong numeracy skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel essential) Computer literate and comfortable using retail software Presentable, professional and strong work ethic Target-driven, motivated and confident Ability to work under pressure and independently Strong organisational and time management skills Good relationship management skills and openness to feedback What Makes You a Strong Candidate You are : Confident engaging with customers Technically curious and solution-oriented Sales-focused and performance-driven Organised and detail-conscious A team player who can also work independently Passionate about delivering excellent service Why Apply?
