Manage, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL environments (community and enterprise editions).
-
Design and optimize database architecture, replication, HA, and backup solutions.
-
Troubleshoot performance issues and conduct tuning and root cause analysis across large-scale environments.
-
Lead Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects and ensure compatibility across platforms.
-
Collaborate with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams for seamless database integration.
-
Enforce security policies, access controls, and best practices.
-
Provide Tier 1 to Tier 3 support to internal teams and external clients.
-
Create documentation, build knowledge bases, and mentor junior DBAs.
-
Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support when needed.
-
Support technical pre-sales and client solution architecture as required.

58 years of hands-on DBA experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused specifically on PostgreSQL.

In-depth experience with enterprise-grade PostgreSQL platforms and tools.

Strong advantage: Background in Oracle Database administration or migrations.

Proven expertise in:

Performance tuning and optimization.
-
Backup and recovery strategies.
-
Replication (streaming and logical).
-

Proficient in Linux command-line operations and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
-
Experience with PostgreSQL monitoring and diagnostic tools such as
pg_stat_statements,Prometheus,pgBadger, etc. -
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and take initiative in high-pressure environments.
