Proficient in SAGE / Pastel or similar advantageous Key Duties & Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement, purchasing, administration, and reporting functions to ensure cost-effectiveness, compliance, and optimal stock availability across all branches. Duties include: Procurement & Purchasing Develop and implement procurement strategies that achieve cost savings and favourable supplier terms. Source products in line with company and customer requirements, negotiating competitive prices and contracts. Manage purchase orders (local and international), supplier relationships, and stock replenishment to avoid stock-outs. Oversee imports, ensuring cost-effective container utilisation, customs compliance, and accurate documentation. Monitor supplier lead times and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Administration Maintain accurate stock records, BOMs, and item codes in the SAGE system. Manage warehouse data and perform daily system updates and order relinks. Ensure SLAs are in place with suppliers and maintain strong communication with management and branches. Handle key administrative processes, including GRVs, purchase orders, clearing instructions, and import documentation. Retain documentation in line with statutory and legal requirements. Reporting Generate and analyse stock, cost, and procurement reports (weekly, monthly, and ad hoc). Review and monitor item costs and price trends, implementing strategies to reduce costs. Prepare month-end stock schedules and variance reports. Provide SHEQ reporting, including non-conformance, product loss, risks, and customer satisfaction tracking.
