About the Role
J D Specialized Recruitment is partnering with a Global Hospitality Design Company based in Johannesburg to recruit an experienced Procurement Specialist. The ideal candidate will be detail-driven, have solid lodge or hospitality industry experience, and a passion for structured processes and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier and client communication
- Oversee procurement documentation and reporting
- Coordinate deliveries and logistics (including exports where applicable)
- Ensure accurate financial tracking and reconciliation
- Implement procurement processes in line with company standards
- Negotiate supplier agreements and contracts
- Monitor and control expenses to optimize costs
- Maintain records of procurement activities and performance metrics
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in procurement or purchasing
- Proven experience within the hospitality or lodge industry
- Strong working knowledge of FFE (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) and OSE (Operating Supplies & Equipment)
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
Qualifications
- Advanced MS Excel and procurement/accounting software proficiency
- Strong financial reconciliation and reporting experience
