About the Role
Our Client in the FMCG industry located in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their team. With a strong background in industrial procurement and manufacturing, we are looking for a skilled professional to help drive our procurement strategy forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement projects from initiation to closure
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure best prices and terms
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Implement and maintain SAP systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Purchasing/Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years experience in the industrial procurement environment
- Minimum 5 years experience in the manufacturing environment
- SAP experience essential
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelors Degree in Purchasing/Supply Chain Management or equivalent
