Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a dynamic technology and delivery environment supporting strategic financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and enterprise finance transformation initiatives. This role will support Agile delivery teams across complex technology, finance, data, and reporting programmes, with a strong focus on financial reporting platforms, IFRS-related initiatives, finance data transformation, and enterprise governance delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including: Daily Stand-ups Sprint Planning Sprint Reviews Retrospectives Backlog Refinement sessions
- Support Agile delivery teams across: Financial reporting initiatives IFRS-related programmes Regulatory reporting transformation Finance data and reporting platforms Enterprise technology and digital transformation projects
- Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement
- Remove impediments and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and blockers impacting delivery
- Drive transparency across delivery through reporting, metrics, dashboards, and team health indicators
- Prepare and present regular delivery reports, sprint metrics, RAID updates, and progress dashboards to stakeholders and leadership teams
- Track sprint progress, team velocity, burn-down/burn-up metrics, and delivery outcomes
- Monitor delivery risks, issues, dependencies, and reporting governance requirements, ensuring accurate escalation and stakeholder communication
- Partner closely with Product Owners, Finance teams, Business Analysts, Developers, QA teams, Architects, Data teams, and Delivery Managers to ensure alignment and successful execution
- Facilitate collaboration between finance, regulatory, data, and technology stakeholders to support delivery alignment and reporting accuracy
- Support release planning, prioritisation, and roadmap alignment across financial reporting and regulatory delivery streams
- Ensure adherence to governance standards, enterprise Agile frameworks, audit requirements, compliance standards, and reporting controls
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and high-performing Agile team culture
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Agile delivery teams
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master within enterprise delivery environments
- Proven experience delivering technology, finance, data, or reporting initiatives within: Banking Financial services Insurance Regulatory environments Large corporate enterprises
- Strong experience supporting Agile/Scrum delivery teams within finance or reporting-focused environments
- Experience working on: Financial reporting platforms IFRS or regulatory reporting initiatives Finance data transformation programmes Enterprise reporting and governance solutions Data integration or reporting modernisation initiatives
- Experience supporting multiple squads and cross-functional delivery teams
Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master certification (Preferred)
