About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Mobile Crane Technician to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our construction equipment maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mobile cranes on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile cranes
  • Conduct pre-operational checks and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with mobile crane systems
  • Lift heavy equipment using mobile cranes, ensuring accurate placement and secure loading
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Qualified Mobile Crane Technician in the Construction Equipment Industry
  • Trade Certificate in Mechanical | Hydraulics | Electrical Engineering or relevant tertiary education
  • Proficient in OEM Systems
  • Experience in lifting heavy equipment
  • Strong knowledge of Mercedes | Cummins Engines (beneficial)
  • Valid Driver’s License
