About the Role
ACB Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Construction Supervisor to join our team in Hotazel, Northern Cape. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction activities at our mine site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and company requirements. With a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering and experience in the mining industry, you will play a critical role in managing contracts, coordinating progress meetings, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and update the construction master schedule and manage the construction activities in compliance with the company;
• Ensure works are constructed in compliance with design specifications;
• Manage all contract execution control documentation for scope, cost, progress and execution;
• Chair progress meetings and update progress reports with contractors on weekly basis;
• Compile scope documentation and BOQ’s for procurement processes;
• Compile Tender Contract documentation under FIDIC Contract Conditions of Contract;
• Conduct tender technical evaluation;
• Weekly update of the Master Schedule on the Microsoft Project;
• Complete monthly payment certificates for projects;
• Manage and maintain all construction delivery contracts;
• Compile monthly construction management reports;
• Handle any ad-hoc assignment assigned by the Company from time to time.
Requirements
• B-Tech Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any other applicable tertiary qualification;
• At least 3 years’ experience in the Mining environment;
• Well-versed in OHS Act and Mining Health and Safety Act;
• Proficient in Microsoft Project;
• Proficient in both spoken and written English;
• Good communication and negotiation skills, good team player, responsible, strong ability to meet tight deadlines.

R34,000 – 36,000 per month CTC, subject to final confirmation as per candidate’s academic/professional qualifications and related working experience
