About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our established restaurant in Meyersdal, Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for restaurants and excellent management skills, with the ability to lead a team and drive customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage front of house operations, including staff supervision and customer service
- Oversee back of house operations, including stock management and cash up reconciliation
- Conduct opening and closing procedures, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations
- Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional manner
- Train and develop staff to achieve optimal performance
Requirements
- 3 or more years of restaurant management experience
- Strong front of house management abilities
- Knowledge of back of house management
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills
- Ability to work under pressure and lead a team
- Skilled in cash up reconciliation, stock management, and opening/closing procedures
