About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team in Johannesburg, supporting a long-established and highly respected home care organization in New York. As a trusted partner of this esteemed client, we value empathy, professionalism, and results-driven performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Make high-volume outbound calls to engage individual consumers and families
- Qualify leads by understanding personal needs, urgency, and decision drivers
- Handle objections confidently while maintaining empathy and professionalism
- Schedule qualified consultations for the care team
- Maintain accurate CRM records and consistent follow-up
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets
- Represent the brand with integrity and compassion at all times
Requirements
- 5 years of proven B2C sales experience (required)
- Demonstrated success selling directly to consumers (not exclusively B2B)
- BIG PLUS: Familiarity with or working knowledge of the U.S. healthcare industry
- Naturally outgoing, personable, and confident communication style
- Strong phone presence and ability to build rapport quickly
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Experience with CRMs and sales tools
