About the Role
The Recruitment Pig is pleased to offer a challenging Security Systems Technician position in Johannesburg/Centurion. As a Gallagher certified professional, you will work on access control systems and integrated security sites with exposure to CCTV support, fault-finding, installations, and upgrades across Johannesburg and Centurion.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain access control systems (readers, locks, PSUs, door contacts, REX)
- Configure, program, and troubleshoot Gallagher systems on-site
- Diagnose and repair faults (power issues, cabling faults, device communication, hardware failures)
- Support CCTV systems (basic setup, testing, troubleshooting) when required
- Complete job cards, service reports, and service documentation accurately
Requirements
- Gallagher certification (must-have, non-negotiable)
- 3+ years experience as an Access Control Technician/Electronic Security Technician
- Own Vehicle and a Valid License
- Strong hands-on experience in Access Control installation and fault-finding
- CCTV support and troubleshooting experience
- Client-facing communication skills and a service mindset

Salary & Benefits
R15 000 to R20 000 (neg) per month
