About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager with a proven track record in cyber security sales to join our team at Be Different Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT services, consulting or cybersecurity, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with existing clients and identify upsell opportunities
- Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with client needs
- Conduct account planning and forecasting using our proven tools and methodology
- Prospect and engage new clients across key verticals (finance, retail, healthcare)
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations that speak to relevant client challenges
- Attend industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads
- Apply value-based sales methodology to uncover client needs and deliver insights
- Manage your pipeline through their CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate forecasting
- Work with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and delivery of services
Requirements
- 35 years of cyber security sales experience in IT services, consulting or cybersecurity
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with confidence engaging C-level stakeholders
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts (penetration testing, risk assessments)
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working both independently and in a team
