About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Marketing Manager to join our executive team in Johannesburg. As a key member of the marketing function, you will be responsible for driving business growth through integrated marketing activity and developing sustainable marketing capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end–to–end marketing strategy, aligned with growth and revenue targets
- Lead brand positioning and ensure consistency across all customer–facing channels
- Drive digital marketing across social media, CRM, email, SEO, and app platforms
- Develop and manage app–related marketing initiatives, including customer engagement, loyalty programmes, and CRM campaigns
- Use performance data, customer insights, and market research to guide decisions and optimise results
- Plan and execute integrated campaigns across digital, retail, experiential, and app channels
- Lead and develop the marketing team, promoting accountability and continuous improvement
- Manage marketing budgets, agency relationships, and cross–functional collaboration
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in senior marketing roles within consumer–led, retail, lifestyle, or FMCG environments
- Strong track record of driving business growth through integrated marketing activity
- Proven people leadership experience, including managing teams and external partners
- Commercially and analytically minded, with the ability to turn data into action
- Comfortable working in a fast–paced, entrepreneurial or founder–led environment
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline
