Job Summary
Qualifications
Requirements:
Matric or equivalent NQF certification. Must be a trade-tested Millwright with strong skills in electrical and instrumentation. Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field. Prior experience in the Food and Beverage industry is advantageous. Competencies Self-motivated and driven. Excellent planning, organizing, and time-management skills. Ability to perform well under pressure. Goal-oriented and proactive. Key Responsibilities Machinery Troubleshooting and Repairs Diagnose and repair complex machinery promptly and professionally. Technical Documentation Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, mechanical schematics, and electrical diagrams. Testing and Analysis Perform equipment trials/tests and provide actionable recommendations based on results. Installation and Commissioning Install, commission, and provide training on equipment as required. Maintenance Tasks Conduct routine maintenance for complex machinery either on-site or in a workshop setting. Reporting and Documentation Prepare detailed reports based on findings and services rendered on equipment. Customer Assistance Offer prompt advice and solutions to customer inquiries and breakdowns. Customer Service Excellence Exceed customer expectations in quality and service delivery. Breakdown Management Respond quickly to breakdowns and provide effective resolutions. Scheduling and Service Execution Execute customer service tasks as per the established schedule. Problem Diagnosis and Solutions Analyze and determine root causes of equipment issues and recommend solutions. Quotation and Spare Parts Management Prepare quotations for repair authorization and ensure necessary spare parts are available. Safety Compliance Adhere to safety standards during in-house operations and at customer sites. Emergency Response Be available as part of a standby team to handle urgent service requirements. Workplace Details Reporting To: Regional Workshops and Spares Manager. Job Purpose Support workshop operations by ensuring efficiency and productivity.
