Job description:
- Front-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly, scalable, and high-performance web applications using React, enhancing our estate planning platform.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver seamless user experiences tailored to our clients needs.
- Leadership: Provide technical guidance to junior developers, ensuring high-quality code through mentorship and code reviews.
- Optimization: Ensure web applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development, integrating best practices into the development process.
- Testing & Debugging: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure reliability and minimize bugs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development with at least 3 years focused on React.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong experience with React libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
- Expertise in TypeScript and its integration with React projects.
- Familiarity with modern build tools like Webpack, Vite, or Parcel.
- Testing Knowledge: Experience with testing libraries and frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
- API Integration: Proficient in integrating RESTful APIs.
- Git Workflow: Comfortable working in a collaborative team using version control tools like Git.
- Experience with server-side rendering frameworks such as Next.js.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
- Experience with state machines (e.g., XState) or state management libraries beyond
- Redux.
- Background in fintech or related domains.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate in a remote team environment.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering solutions that enhance the user experience.
