The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate and collaborate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible. He/ She will inform and advise the Project manager of any risks or issues identified. Familiar with a variety of the field`s concepts, practices and procedures. Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate has strong understanding of various technical concepts, practices, and procedures within the Information Management field. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a program/project manager. Key responsibilities: Daily collaboration and alignment with the Project Manager and System Specialists. Installaltion, configurations, commisioning and maintaining server hardware and software. Coordinate and mange multiple deployments simultaneously across multiple opperations. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the seamless execution of projects. Monitor and track progress as per project plan, ensuring that all tasks are delivered on-time as per project schedule. Coordinate tasks and agree resource availability and allocation with Site Supervisors. Measure project hardware performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report and escalate to management as needed. Develop the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. Continuasly perform risk management to minimize project risks. Establish, maintain, and manage relationships with third parties/vendors. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project and outer year planning. Delegate agreed-upon project tasks based on Site Technician and resorces availability and schedules. Use and continually develop skills. Perform other related duties as assigned. Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document project deliverables and requirements. Qualifications and experience: Completed Grade 12 (Matric), 3-5 years relevant work experience, Business communication and understanding, MCSE, Microsoft Hyper-V (Advantageous), VMware Administration Skills Essential, ITIL preferred. Role specific knowledge: Strong understanding of IT and virtual infrastructures. Orchestrate documentation of procedures, standards, and activities. Install and prepare servers for shipment. Rack and Stack server equipment. Basic server configuration includes network configuration and remote access. Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2 up to Server 2022 installation and/or deployment. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
