About the Role
Join our client team as a Social Media Manager, where you will lead social media delivery and coordination for multiple brands and client accounts in Johannesburg. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for translating strategies into clear briefs for designers and ensuring all activity runs smoothly and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage social media strategies aligned with client goals, target audiences, and brand positioning.
- Build and maintain monthly content calendars and plan activity across multiple brands simultaneously.
- Prepare detailed briefs for designers and review submitted artwork for accuracy and brand alignment.
- Schedule and publish approved content across all platforms while overseeing client social media accounts.
- Liaise with community managers to ensure queries and issues are handled and aligned with campaign messaging.
- Plan and manage social media campaigns, launches, and promotions while coordinating internal timelines.
- Monitor performance and compile monthly reports with insights and recommendations per brand.
- Manage and oversee monthly paid social media campaigns and monitor budgets.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager in an agency or multi-brand environment.
- Strong ability to manage multiple brands, accounts, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Clear understanding of major social media platforms and their role within digital campaigns.
- Excellent written communication, briefing, organizational, and project management abilities.
- Comfortable interpreting performance data and translating insights into action.
- Experience using social media management and scheduling tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
