Step into a high-impact Group Financial Accountant position where you will be responsible for the integrity and consolidation of the group’s financial results. You will be the go-to expert for technical accounting, group reporting, and ensuring compliance, providing a clear and accurate picture of the group’s performance to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the group’s monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process.
• Prepare and review group financial statements in compliance with IFRS, ensuring technical accuracy.
• Oversee and review the financial reporting from subsidiary companies, ensuring adherence to group accounting policies.
• Play a key role in the group’s annual audit process, acting as a primary point of contact for External Auditors.
• Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure group-wide compliance.
• Continuously improve group reporting processes and enhance the effectiveness of financial controls.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to finance teams across the group’s subsidiaries.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• CA(SA) / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent.
• BCom Accounting with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, including significant exposure to group consolidations.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and experience in preparing complex group financial statements.
• Proficient in a major ERP system; experience with group consolidation modules is highly advantageous.
• A background in manufacturing, especially packaging, FMCG, or a related industrial group, will make you a standout candidate.
