Job Description

We are currently seeking a Stores Receiving Clerk for a well-established engineering company. The ideal candidate must be technically inclined and able to work confidently with engineering components and machinery parts. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase orders Identify and handle engineering and machinery parts accurately Take basic measurements of parts and materials when required Capture stock on the system and maintain accurate records Report any damages, discrepancies, or shortages Ensure proper storage and organization of stock Operate a forklift to load and offload goods safely Minimum Requirements: Previous experience in a stores or receiving role within an engineering or technical environment Technically minded with the ability to identify machinery parts Ability to take accurate measurements Valid Forklift License (essential) Good attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer literacy – Sage Strong organizational and communication skills
