The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and consolidating monthly and quarterly financial results, ensuring compliance with IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements. The role includes performing detailed reconciliations, analysing financial performance, and producing management and board-level reports. You will coordinate budgeting processes, manage tax calculations and disclosures, and ensure accurate group reporting and intercompany eliminations. In addition, the role involves maintaining financial systems and hierarchies, supporting audits, and assisting with technical accounting matters across the group. The position requires strong involvement in process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and ad hoc projects within a fast-paced reporting environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong IFRS technical expertise and group reporting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills and strong numerical ability
- Ability to analyse financial data and identify trends and risks
- High attention to detail with strong reconciliation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualification:
- Chartered Accountant qualification CA(SA)
- Completed articles with 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience
