Job Description

Job Description: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multi-disciplinary technical team to consistently deliver exceptional service. Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality assurance, while building and maintaining strong client relationships and resolving technical and service issues efficiently. Manage departmental budgets, monitor KPIs, and implement initiatives to enhance team performance Drive continuous improvement through training, process optimization, and the integration of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and automation technologies Skills & Experience: Over five years experience managing technical or service teams with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge Practical experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMI systems, conveyors, compressors, and rotating equipment Skilled in leading, mentoring, and developing multi-disciplinary technical teams Hands-on experience in maintenance, field service, and workshop environments Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-focused skills with a solutions-oriented mindset Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field Demonstrated experience managing technical service operations in an industrial setting Strong understanding of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems in industrial applications Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally and internationally as required Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered. Job Description

Job Description

Lead and inspire a team of technicians and support staff to deliver top-tier service Manage day-to-day service operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, workflow, and quality standards Develop and maintain strong client relationships, addressing technical and service needs promptly Oversee departmental budgets, monitor KPIs, and implement performance improvement initiatives Manage inventory, supplier relationships, and procurement to support operational requirements Drive continuous improvement through training, process optimization, and technology integration Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards while promoting a positive team culture Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years management experience in a technical or service-driven environment Strong mechanical background with exposure to conveyors, compressors, and rotating equipment Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop multi-disciplinary technical teams Practical experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance (field or workshop) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset Sound financial understanding, with experience managing budgets and performance metrics Proficient in service management software and MS Office applications Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering (or related field) Demonstrated experience in managing technical service operations within an industrial setting Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally and internationally when required Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
