Employer Description Leaders in Building Insurance Job Description Data Analysis & Insights Analyse claims, premium, and policy data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities. Create dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support underwriting and management decisions. Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure accuracy and consistency of key datasets. Pricing & Underwriting Support : Assist in developing and maintaining pricing models for insurance products. Work with management to monitor book performance and identify risk areas. Provide analytical support for new business initiatives and product reviews. Business Intelligence & Automation : Develop scripts and tools (e.g., in Python, SQL, Json) to streamline data processing. Support system enhancements by testing, validating, and implementing improvements. Help maintain and enhance internal analytics and reporting infrastructure. Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with underwriters, management, and IT teams to deliver data solutions. Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear, actionable way Qualifications Bachelors Degree with excellent marks in a quantitative field. (Data Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Accounting, Engineering). Skills Strong programming skills ( Python ) and SQL for data extraction. Advanced Microsoft Excel skil ls (pivot tables, lookups, basic VBA). 2 years experience in data analysis, actuarial, or business intelligence role. Exposure to data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI). Experience with geospatial data processing would be an advantage. Ability to work with large datasets, clean and prepare data, and generate actionable insights. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.
