About the Role
The Training and Development Intern will provide comprehensive administrative, logistical, and operational support to the Training and Development team, offering hands-on experience in the full training lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update training records, attendance logs, and learning management systems/digital databases.
- Assist in the preparation of training materials, presentations, manuals, and handouts.
- Schedule training sessions and manage calendars for Training and Development Manager, facilitators, venues, and participants.
- Handle internal and external correspondence related to training programs (e.g., invitations, confirmations, follow-ups).
- Support logistics for training sessions (venue booking, catering, equipment setup).
- Track attendance and compile feedback forms after sessions.
- Assist in monitoring completion of e-learning modules and compliance training.
- Prepare reports on training activities, attendance, and evaluation results.
- Ensure proper filing of training-related documents for audit and compliance purposes.
- Respond to queries from employees regarding training topics, schedules, and requirements.
- Collaborate with other HR team members on development initiatives.
Requirements
- Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must be well presented, professional, and have excellent communication skills.
- Some working experience will be advantageous.
