About the Role
Sapientis is seeking an experienced Vehicle Workshop Foreman to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our workshop operations, you will oversee daily workflow, quality control, safety, and productivity while mentoring technicians to ensure high-quality repairs. With a focus on technical expertise and customer satisfaction, we are looking for a motivated and driven individual who can lead by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily workshop operations including workflow, quality control, safety, and productivity
- Supervise, guide, and mentor technicians to ensure high-quality repairs
- Assist technicians directly on complex repairs and technical challenges
- Provide ongoing training and upskilling to the workshop team
- Ensure workshop targets are met and performance standards are maintained
- Troubleshoot advanced mechanical and diagnostic issues
- Handle customer interactions professionally and resolve any repair concerns
Requirements
- Qualified Motor Mechanic (Trade Test / Red Seal)
- Essential Suzuki brand experience highly advantageous
- KIA or Toyota experience also considered
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Workshop Foreman in a corporate dealership
- Strong technical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Solid experience using advanced diagnostic tools
Qualifications
- Qualified Motor Mechanic (Trade Test / Red Seal)
