Job Summary
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Deal with all walk-in and phone-in clients Ensure increased customer awareness and maintain/increase market share Ensure optimal growth by providing excellent customer service Promote companies full basket of products at all times Maintain and grow customer data base Comprehensive Knowledge of products, material in the warehouse and prices in the market place compared to companys offering Meet and improve annual budgets inherent requirement Check material availability when quoting / expediting Written (typed) quotations are provided to customers Assist with Tender pricing / Quotations when required Capture the customers order on Syspro timeously and accurately and follow the progress thereof Client queries are responded to timeously, assist with customer complaints, requirements and progress Deliveries are followed up on whenever necessary Assist with follow up on orders in the factory (backlog report) and communicate progress to customers Ensure customer credit limits are in line with budgeted sales Assist with credit applications and sales rep reports for the debtors department Assist debtor department with Account enquiries, Debtors and deposits Analyse customer needs by reporting on calls made to customers and submit to the branch manager on a weekly basis Assist to maintain customer pricelists and customer data base Assist with monthly material forecast Assist customers with cutting lists / drawing office requests / flashing sketches Assist customer with technical info, brochure and installation procedures General admin / own filing Assist with additional tasks as requested by management from time to time Assist external reps with quotations and admin Analyse customer feedback and service satisfaction Assist with mobile mill / cranking bookings & site readiness Participate in Stock take Quarterly Assist with replenishing warehouse and stock control Assist with waste / off cut management Assist with Manufacturing Orders Required Skills Internal Sales Order Taking Quoting QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Matric Certificate Relevant Sales/Marketing diploma/degree will be an advantage Computer Literacy is essential (MS Office) Syspro or similar experience is required Minimum 3 years experience as an internal sales administrator in the steel industry is essential Sound knowledge of and experience in the South African roof sheeting industry is preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Must be able to work independently Must be able to work under pressure Package & Remuneration R 20 000 max CTC Includes Medical Aid and Pension Fund
