Kempton Park: Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our team. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing or electrical systems, painting, and carpentry work. Conduct inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify maintenance need Respond to maintenance requests from staff and tenants in a timely manner Maintain proper records of maintenance work performed Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal maintenance tasks as needed Qualifications and Experience: NQF level 4 required 2 to 3 years’ experience Experience/qualification in plumbing work or electrical work is advantageous Competencies: Planning and organizing Problem solving Customer Service Innovation and creativity Written and verbal communication Interpersonal skills .
