About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Agronomist/Entomologist to join our team in Komatipoort, Hectorspruit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, research, and development, with a focus on plant physiology, microbiology, and scientific methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development in orchards
- Work with citrus and subtropical fruit trees (with an advantage for sugarcane knowledge)
- Collaborate with the team to achieve agricultural goals
Requirements
- BSc in Horticulture/Plant Sciences/Entomology or Agricultural related field
- 5 years experience in agriculture, preferably with research and development
- Familiarity with plant physiology research, microbiology, and scientific methodology
- Hands-on experience working in orchards
- Fluency in Afrikaans and English
