About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fertilizer Sales Representative to join our team in Malelane, Mpumalange. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with customers, understanding their agricultural needs, and recommending suitable fertilizer products and application strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of various fertilizer products, their compositions, benefits, and application methods.
- Identify potential customers, build relationships, and understand their specific crop and soil needs.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of different fertilizer products to potential customers.
- Coordinate fertilizer orders, ensuring accurate quantities and delivery schedules are met.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance, addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Develop cost estimates and proposals for fertilizer programs tailored to customers’ crop needs and budgets.
- Generate reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights for management’s analysis.
Requirements
- Grade 12 with Agricultural qualification will be an advantage
- 2 years of experience in agricultural sales
