Description:
Hire Resolve`s Client is urgently seeking an experienced Finance Manager with mining experience to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute essential input towards the development of the Finance strategy.
• Serve as a primary source of financial data for strategic decisions and tracking the execution of the Finance strategy.
• Create, update, and uphold financial policies and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure adherence to legal requirements and alignment with the overarching strategic and business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and tax regulations, including Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, and the Royalty Act.
• Implement, evaluate, and manage commercial agreements on the mine, particularly regarding off-take contracts.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual assessments to maintain strong financial controls across debtors, creditors, cashbook, general ledger, payroll, timekeeping, operational and quarterly reports, and the five-year financial plan.
• Supervise monthly reporting of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow to external stakeholders.
• Manage financial reporting processes to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and conform to IFRS and relevant industry standards.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• BCom Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Honours or Post Graduate Degree in Accounting
• CA(SA) registered.
• MUST have experience working within the MINING INDUSTRY.
• 7 years` experience in Financial Management/Accounting (Completed Articles)
• 3 years` management experience
