About the Role
A senior Logistics Executive is urgently needed to take full ownership of logistics and distribution within a high-volume FMCG cold chain environment in Northern KZN. As a strategic + operational leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient, cost-effective and time-critical delivery of perishable goods across distribution networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient, cost-effective and time-critical delivery of perishable goods across distribution networks
- Provide full ownership of logistics and distribution within the FMCG cold chain environment
- Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to meet business objectives
- Manage a high-volume distribution network to ensure timely and reliable delivery of goods
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain / Transport Management
- 810+ years experience in FMCG logistics (cold chain highly advantageous)
- Proven experience at management / executive level
- Strong fleet and distribution management experience
- Experience with logistics systems / ERP / route planning tools
