Job Summary
PERSONAL FITNESS INSTRUCTOR – Ladies Gym & Spa
BAHRAIN (KOB)
START: A.S.A.P / 01 July 2025 (Visa pending)
REPORTS TO: Director
CONTRACT: 2-year contract with option to renew
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- 8-hour work day + 1 hour meal break
- Days off in the week
- Shifts
- 30 Days Annual leave per 12 months worked
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- USD $1,060 – $1,325 per month (Based on relevant skills & experiences) | BD 400 – BD500
- Commission & Incentives (targeted)
- Single, private room (in shared company accommodation) includes a Gym & Pool overlooking the marina
- Company transport (from accommodation to work & back)
- Recruitment Flight join & end of contract
- Employment Visa
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Internationally accredited qualification in Fitness / Exercise Sciences / Biokenetics or similar
- Valid Passport for traveling
- Highly presentable – fit & fabulous
- background in Pilates & Megaformer
- VIP / HNWI client experience
EXPERIENCE:
- Confident command of the English Language
- Cruise Ship or other international employment experience – Middle East preferred
- a MINIMUM of 1 year employment experience in a gym / spa gym / health hydro
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to focus attention on guests needs, remaining calm and courteous
- Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the business
- Ability to priorities, organize and follow up
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guest information and data
- Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform sessions with total focus on safety, attention and timeliness.
- Provide consistent professional class and personal training sessions in accordance with company protocols and accepted certification practices.
- Properly care for equipment and maintain fitness equipment.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized and stocked fitness area.
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all fitness offerings while educating and training guests in these areas.
- Perform administrative duties in a complete, organized and accurate manner.
- Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa or fitness area that require attention.
- Handle guests questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
- Possess ability to work without direct supervision.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
