Letsitele: Junior Farm Manager – Levubu (avo’s and macadamia)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Junior Farm Manager to join our team at Letsitele, where you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our avocado and macadamia farm in Levubu.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Farm Manager with day-to-day farm operations
• Supervise field staff and seasonal workers
• Monitor the health and development of avocado or macadamia orchards
• Oversee irrigation, fertilization, and pest control programs
• Maintain accurate records of farm activities and production
• Ensure adherence to agricultural and safety regulations
• Coordinate harvest activities and post-harvest handling
• Contribute to continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives

Requirements

• Relevant agricultural qualification (advantageous)
• 23 years experience in avocado or macadamia farming
• Strong understanding of orchard management practices
• Good communication and people management skills
• Willingness to work hands-on and lead by example
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English
