Valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle mandatory. 5 star lodge experience with strong all-round hospitality skills. Existing experience with a lodge PMS system such Benson, Opera, Fidelio etc. Excellent hygiene, pride in personal appearance & presentation. Extensive experience in guest services, demonstrating warmth, engagement, and the ability to anticipate guest needs. Competence in all lodge-related administration, including billing, invoicing, day sheets, and stock management. Strong leadership and team management skills: rostering, leave management, training, and performance oversight. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving ability. Solid understanding of front-of-house operations and the ability to coordinate across departments seamlessly. Lead and manage the housekeeping and butler teams, ensuring high service standards and performance. Oversee and handle all front-of-house administrative tasks: guest check-ins/check-outs, billing, invoicing, day sheets, and stock management. Coordinate the day-to-day running of the lodge, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across all departments. Check reservations, special requests, indemnities, and guest meet & greets. Host and engage with guests for meals and special experiences on a rotational schedule. Monitor and manage beverage and housekeeping storerooms, placing orders, conducting stock takes, and maintaining accurate admin records. Ensure smooth execution of lodge operations with minimal supervision while taking full ownership of responsibilities. ???????????? / ??????? / ???? ????? Basic Salary: R15 – R16, 000.00 per month, potentially further negotiable DOE. Gratuities: Allocated from the combined pool, unless a specific individual gratuity is given. Meal Allowance: R3, 200.00 per month, in in cash value, added to basic salary. Work cycle: 27 consecutive working days followed by 9 consecutive rest days each month. An additional 6 floating leave days are provided per annum.
