Job Description
To be responsible for planning, design, monitoring and reporting of related infrastructure projects.
The candidate should be enthusiastic, customer focused and willing to put extra effort into ensuring the successful completion of the projects that they are responsible for.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BEng, BSC or B-Tech degree in Civil Engineering (Structural).
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Technologist.
- Be creative and have at least a minimum of 10 years working experience with 5 years post registration working experience in Structural Engineering (Planning, Design, Monitoring and Reporting).
- Knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and quality standards and ability to effectively advice clients where required.
- Experience in Project Management and Report Writing skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Attending client’s projects brief and assist with preparation of project specifications.
- Assist with preparation of Feasibility Studies and Technical Reports.
- Prepare designs and drawings.
- Liaise with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Arrange all required projects meetings and prepare minutes and progress reports.
- Monitor and advice contractors and Resident Engineers on site.
