My client a successful medium sized accounting and audit firm is looking to employ an Audit Manager to assist with technical work for their own portfolio of clients as well as managing the team. Close-knit, committed team culture. The ideal candidate would be a client focused, professional and ethical individual with strong technical abilities. Why join this team? Established medium‑sized accounting and audit environment with a close‑knit, committed team culture Work alongside supportive leadership in a professional, client‑focused environment Role suited to someone ethical, technically strong, and dedicated to excellent client service What you will be dong: Review financial statements with precision to ensure regulatory accuracy and compliance Calculate and submit tax returns for businesses, trusts, and individuals Advise clients on complex tax matters and strategies to improve tax efficiency Prepare financial statements aligned with relevant accounting standards Manage a team of 15 staff and collaborate closely with the practice manager and business partner What we are looking for: CA(SA) qualification (minimum requirement) At least 5 years post‑qualification experience within a small accounting practice Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills Strong client service orientation-non‑negotiable Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal High attention to detail, ethical conduct, and professionalism Strong technical competence across accounting and audit functions Benefits and unique aspects: Ability to run and grow your own portfolio Leadership experience through team management Exposure to diverse client needs across accounting, tax, and audit Please note if you haven’t heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
