Hire Resolves client in the Agricultural Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Procurement Manager (Grain) to join their team in the Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of contracts and procurement of the category.
• Provides purchasing services including enquiries; adjudication of tenders; placing orders; compiling/administration of contracts and settling contract disputes.
• Ensures compliance with legal and company regulations.
• Establishes and optimizes the logistics channels and ensures the availability of products procured as well as delivered timeously.
• Ability to lead a high-impact team and collaborate with different stakeholders.
• Driving automation/optimization of the grain procurement system – reporting functional management information and trend analyses

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelors Degree (BCom or Agriculture Economics).
• Knowledge of the JSE Agricultural Products and Derivative Dealers Exam will be an advantage.
• 6 Years of related grain procurement experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate and/or negotiate with a high level of proficiency.
• Excellent MS Office & Procurement supplier/dealer integrated systems skills.
