Job Description

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Manager to join their team in the automotive industry in KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our parts department, including inventory management, customer service, and sales.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the parts department
Develop and implement strategies to increase parts sales and profitability
Ensure inventory levels are maintained and orders are placed in a timely manner
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
Supervise and train parts department staff
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track departmental performance
Develop relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable pricing and terms
Stay current on industry trends and new parts technology

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a parts management role
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a parts department within the automotive industry
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient in inventory management systems
Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions
Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
Valid driver’s license
