Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the parts department
- Develop and implement strategies to increase parts sales and profitability
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained and orders are placed in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Supervise and train parts department staff
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track departmental performance
- Develop relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable pricing and terms
- Stay current on industry trends and new parts technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a parts management role
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a parts department within the automotive industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in inventory management systems
- Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
- Valid driver’s license
