Job Description

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Manager to join their team in the automotive industry in KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our parts department, including inventory management, customer service, and sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the parts department
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase parts sales and profitability
  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained and orders are placed in a timely manner
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Supervise and train parts department staff
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track departmental performance
  • Develop relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable pricing and terms
  • Stay current on industry trends and new parts technology

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a parts management role
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a parts department within the automotive industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in inventory management systems
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
  • Valid driver’s license
