Meyerton: SENIOR BOOKKEEPER – MEYERTON

Key Responsibilities: Full bookkeeping function up to TRIAL BALANCE Manage & Reconcile General Ledger Accounts Process supplier & customer invoices, credit notes, and payments Perform monthly bank reconciliations Prepare VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting Monitor & analyze manufacturing costs, variances, & margins Work closely with production & procurement teams to ensure accurate BOM costing Utilize Evolution BOM or Xperdyte to manage & report on production & inventory data Assist with year-end audits & liaise with external auditors Implement & maintain internal controls & financial procedures Requirements: Min – 5 years experience as a Senior Bookkeeper in a manufacturing environment Experience working on Pastel Evolution, including BOM module or Xperdyte Manufacturing Suite Strong understanding of cost accounting & inventory management Strong Excel skills (V-LOOKUPS & PIVOT TABLES) High attention to detail & accuracy Ability to work independently & meet deadlines Strong communication & interpersonal skills Knowledge of South African TAX regulations & compliance
