As an Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating the day-to-day activities of the finance function, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and smooth operational support for both lending and non-lending activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain finance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Support lending operations, pre- and post-investment activities, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with compliance requirements.
• Manage tax submissions, payroll administration, debtors, creditors, and company secretarial activities.
• Oversee treasury functions, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow management, and bank stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate internal, statutory, and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate information.
• Provide regular financial reports and trackers for management and key stakeholders.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting (experience within an accounting firm will be advantageous).
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and prior experience with accounting systems.
