Job Description: 
It will be the Intercommunications Managers responsibility to manage the Department from project onset to hand-over 
for production purposes by coordinating projects and staff.   
The candidate will report into NPD and Marketing Manager 
ensuring deadlines are met in terms of all development process related requirements. The position requires daily monitoring of all projects and timelines and continuous communication with and between team members. Marketing- and quality related assistance will form part of the job description. The candidate will receive OTJ training 

Technical Project Initiation: 

• Full project assessment 
• Process assessment 
• Meetings/liaising with Technical Management and NPD & Marketing Manager 

New Product Development: 

• Manage project requirements 
• Manage Graphics 
• Prepare relevant process and project documentation 
• Check final sample packs 
• Oversee development process including: 
• Monitor and manage samples process 
• Check all samples prior sending to client 
• Initiation of production boxes 
• Administration
• Costing
• Review NPD invoices 

Production: 

• Review production plan 
• Review production dates and deadlines 
• Sign boxes prior sending to QA 
• NPD to production kick-off 
• Manage all product assurance during NPD production

Client liaison: 

• Sourcing of high-level business / customer development 
• General client correspondence & meetings 
• Advertising collaboration 

Development: 

• Business, Fairs, Process, New Markets, Customers/clients, Equipment 

Marketing: 

• Advertising campaigns, Exhibitions , Social media 

Internal communication: 

• Daily WA action updates , Update teams on actions

Requirements:

 

• Own, reliable transport (no transport sharing) 
• 5+ Years experience in a professional project or product development, project management and/or 
• creative environment 
• Relevant degree 
• Proof of primary, secondary and tertiary education 
• Reside in Gauteng-no travel distance issues 
• Weekend work will be required every 7th weekend Sat 7.30am to 12pm and Sun 7.30am to 12pm
• Please note that previous payslips are required in order to negotiate relevant salary
