About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our team at Liham Consulting Pty (Ltd) in Midrand. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, managing relationships with banks, and providing strategic leadership to your team. Your expertise in IFRS calculations, budgeting, and forecasting will be invaluable in driving the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare documents, reports, and analyses for external auditors, including all IFRS calculations and statements/reports.
Provide strong strategic leadership to finance team.
Maintain a comprehensive filing system or record keeping for ease of access and retrieval.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal policies systems and procedures.
Responsible for lender and donor reporting and governance in accordance with their covenants and agreements.
Manage the day-to-day transactional relationships with all banks; optimize use of bank accounts.

Requirements

Post Graduate Degree in Finance/Accounting
CA (SA) qualification will be advantageous.
Must have a minimum of five years experience in an accounting role.
Must have a minimum 3 year’s management position.
Advanced Excel Skills are non-negotiable.
